Sabina, is a girl of a slum
Sabina is called the rose of the slum
Sabina is a real beauty
Sabina is at her twenty.
Sabina knows her responsibility.
Day & night she does her duty.
Her duty is to feed her parents.
Her duty is to bring up her children.
She is having two children;
She does not know who had made.
Coz everyday she got different guy,
To sleep with her & then give her bye.
But her children are of her own
With her beauty & blood of her own
She dreams big dream with her children
One day she would build big house & kitchen
For that she needs to earn money more
Therefore, she searches works from door to door
Some guys who give her job, cannot keep their love dormant
With their love she is now becoming again pregnant.

Kaushik came late from the office; as a result he became late his all activities at his quarter. Still it becomes mandatory for him to write something for his blog. That gives him a little relief. He writes his feelings & his experiences there. It became around 11 pm to complete his write up for the blogs, now it is time to prepare his food. He was shutting down the pc & was waiting for the dark screen to appear. It wd take hardly 1 minute for this.
“But what this sound is? Is it from his computer?” He listened attentively. No, this is not from his pc, the dark screen already appeared. Certainly it is from outside of his house. He gave more attention; somebody is weeping outside, who may be?
He came to the corridor without delay. Outside it was deep dark with heavy rain. In the corridor one woman was weeping.
“What happens? Who r u?” He asked promptly.
“I m Salini, a deserted woman, I m just taking here a little shelter to save from the rain. As soon as rain stops, I wd go from here, sir.”
“why ? why u r deserted? Who did it?”
“They termed me as a witch & removed from the village.”
“Witch? Why? Please come in & tell me the whole story.”
Salini came into his small drawing room, she was wetted with rain water completely. In the light of electricity, Kaushik could see her completely. A pregnant woman, but very beautiful, slim figure with nice complexion.
“First change
Salini went to bathroom & made herself dry. She came out wearing the bed sheet somehow like a sari. She felt shy in front of Kaushik as the bed sheet could not cover her fully. Still she tried to cover herself best.
Kaushik pretended as if he had not marked anything. He told her to sit in the sofa.
“I m making food, but no special dish, as I m a bachelor, I have only simple items, moreover I m a vegetarian.”
“I m too.” She replied shortly.
Kaushik felt good on that. He told, “I can’t allow u to go somewhere now in this condition & u must tell me what happen to u? why villagers has termed u as a witch? Where is
“I hv no husband, I m not married.”
Kaushik stunned. Inquisition was abt to grasp him. “Then how it happened?” words came out spontaneously. “But wait, the cooker is whistling, I m coming from kitchen.”
“Can I help u?”
She came with Kaushik to the kitchen.
The kitchen was totally disordered, Kaushik felt a little bit shy for that. But she brought a little order within a few minutes. Kaushik brought out dishes & distributed the prepared food & brought everything to dining table.
“Ok, please sit on that chair, we wd talk while taking dinner.” Kaushik told.
She took sit on the chair in front of Kaushik.
“How many months happened to it? Who did it?”
“8 & a half months running, & who did it?” her eyes dampened. “They did it, but now they r refusing.”, as if she told herself.
“Who were they? Who?” His inquisitions reached its peak.
“They, the big ones of our village, they took the advantage of poverty of our family, now while it happened they termed me as nasty woman, & then a witch.” She started weeping.
Kaushik told, “Ok, now u r not there, not in that society, u r here, please feel safe & secured, don’t weep please.”
Salini stopped weeping. She asked, “Sir, u remain alone here? I didn’t know, I shouldn’t stay long with u. If people know they wd tell many things about u.”
“Don’t think of that, they know me well, think u r staying as my guest. I can’t allow u to go u now in this condition in this night.”
Salini didn’t tell anything on that. They finished their dinner silently.
After dinner, Kaushik made his bed in order putting new bed sheet & pillow cover. Salini was in kitchen washing the dishes.
Looking Salini was busy in kitchen, Kaushik rang his mobile to Mrs. Nandita, his best friend & well wisher. It was around 12 night. Nandita unwillingly took up the mobile. But as soon as she got the voice of Kaushik became serious, “Kaushik? In this night? What happen? Are u facing any problem?”
Kaushik told detail what happened & how he is managing.
“But I don’t know how to treat a woman, that too pregnant woman, I want some suggestion from u, please tell me.”
“Kaushik don’t be so serious, what u r doing is everything ok, a pregnant woman is also like u only, only requirement is ur feelings, ur love, u have that, I feel u could treat her much better than anybody else. Now how u arranged for her sleeping at night?”
Kaushik told how he is arranging his own bed for her. “I hv no extra bed, I wd give my bed to her. My sofa can be shaped easily to a bed, I wd sleep at the drawing room.”
“That’s nice, I admire ur intellect, but please remember one thing, naturally pregnant women want more warmth of love, sometimes their body burns in love, if she insists something please try to provide that, to the extent possible, never let her feel any fear or loneliness at any time, if needs please stay with her, if any problem comes, please let me know at any time. Though my husband is out now, I wd be able to drive myself to u to help u at any time.”
Kaushik gave her thanks for her suggestions & said a good night.
Meantime Salini finished the washing of dishes & came to the drawing room. At the same time Kaushik also finished the talks with Nandita & came to the drawing room.
“Thanks for cleaning the dishes; I hv arranged
Salini followed Kaushik. Entering the room, Kaushik told, “Please sleep here, blanket is there at the left side, if u feel cold at night u can take that.”
Salini told, “It is ok for me, but where u wd sleep?”
“Oh, my sofa can be shaped to a bed easily, I wd sleep there at the drawing room.”
“Why so? Why should I take out
“No Salini, think of
Salini didn’t insist much. “Oh ok then, but I have to sleep wearing this bed sheet itself, as my clothes r yet to dry.” Salini went to the bed.
“Good night, Salini, c u tomorrow morning”, Kaushik put off the tube light & put on the dim light of the room.
He came to the drawing room, shaped the sofa to a bed & about to sleep wearing a blanket. But Salini entered the room with a fearing face.
Kaushik jumped up, “What happen Salini, Why this fear look in
“There is somebody there sir, I hv heard some sound of footsteps there.”
Kaushik laughed out to normalize her, “Salini, what can come here in my house, all doors r closed, come I wd check & show u.” Kaushik came with her to the room, nothing was there. “See nothing is there, u sleep without thinking anything, Salini.” Salini silently went to her bed again, but fear was still there in her face.
Kaushik suddenly remembered Nandita’s words, “never let her feel any fear or loneliness.” He asked Salini, “Are u still with fear Salini”
“Hmmm, yes a little bit, sir.” Salini hesitatingly replied.
“Then may I go now” he pleaded Salini.
“Hmmm, If u don’t mind sir..” Salini stopped her sentence at half.
“Tell me Salini, if anything u have in
“No, I want to tell if u don’t mind can u stay with me here for sometime sir.”
“Oh that’s my pleasure, u sleep, I m sitting on
“Ok”, Salini replied.
Salini closed her eyes to sleep; Kaushik waited sitting on her bed reading a novel. But even after 15 minutes Salini couldn’t sleep, some fear was grasping her veins.
“Sir how much time u wd be sitting like this, sleep is not coming to me, sir can u please sleep here, if don’t mind.” Salini pleaded him.
Kaushik again remembered the Nandita’s words, “never let her feel loneliness.” He accepted Salini’s words. She slept just beside her in the bed.
Salini slowly put her hand to Kaushik’s arm & brought nearer to her. Kaushik face came very near to her face. Her breaths were touching his faces. She was looking him with love. Kaushik too. Kaushik felt her beautiful touch in his hair, face, body & breast.
He remembered the words Salini told, “Naturally pregnant women want more warmth of love, sometimes their body burns in love. if she insists something please try to provide that..”
Yes her face is becoming pinkish with full of love. She is wishing love from him. It is his duty to respond to her wishes.
He came more closer to her, brought her face nearer & started kissing her lips with love.
Salini started burning in love, she was feeling the heat of love inside, she required to cool it anyhow now.
She removed her blanket & embraced Kaushik & came top of him. She started biting his lips & cheeks & breast. Remembering Nandita’s words, Kaushik let himself surrendered to Salini. He almost lost consciousness in her burning love. What she did & what he was doing with her he didn’t know. A heavenly feeling overpowered his all feelings.
When Kaushik slept out in the bed he didn’t know. But when he woke up early in the morning he found Salini is wearing her sari to leave his house.
Washing his face while he came out, Salini told him, “I m very sorry, Kaushik, it was happened naturally, I couldn’t control, I was burning, I wd be always thankful to u for the night. I wd not disturb u any more. Forgive me for the night, if u can. I wd go now, sir.”
“Where u wd go?”
“I don’t know sir.”
Kaushik became calm, told her, “Salini, u r abandoned by
“Sir, that is wild, society would not accept him or her, nor I know who is his or her father. I m termed as witch, witch can’t stay in human society, I wd go some jungle or somewhere else to die.”
Kaushik came closer to her from her back, put her hand at her raising belly, smoothly moved it through the raised part with love, “Salini, it is the best gift of God to mankind, who says he or she would not have any father? Without father is it possible to bear a progeny. Salini don’t feel me anybody else. I m too thankful to u what u have done yesterday. U r not doing for urself those, those were for this baby inside u. He or she generated burning love inside u. U could not resist it. U cooled it through me. It was a need for this baby. Don’t feel shy or bad for that. I m not feeling anything bad for that. Give birth to this baby. This baby is urs, this baby is ours, We have given love to this baby yesterday night."
Salini stood still.
She postured herself face to face with Kaushik, & told, “Sir, I cannot leave
She touched his feet with folded hand.
Kaushik took her in his breast & kissed her lips -
A kiss to give her a new life.
